Elliot Demaine

Elliot Demaine is a 6'7", 300lb OT and triple sport athlete with an 81" wingspan. He is a unique and aggressive talent on the field, returning to Wake Forest as a Redshirt Freshman (b 2007) from Ottawa, Canada. 

He brings the speed of his years of intense AAA ice hockey training and agility from his high school basketball championship experiences. Elliot is a dedicated football player who puts everything on the field every day, every play.

Recognized for his length and athleticism, Demaine brings a unique combination of size, coordination and movement ability to the offensive line. His range and body control allow him to operate effectively in space while maintaining balance and positioning at the line of scrimmage.
Since arriving at Wake Forest, Demaine has progressed within a competitive ACC environment and earned game experience at left tackle—one of the most demanding positions on the field. His growth reflects both his work ethic and the development structure of the program.

Demaine’s skill set includes the ability to engage defenders with length, work to the second level in the run game, and compete in pass protection against high-level competition. As he continues to add strength and refine technique, he remains focused on contributing to the success of the Wake Forest offensive line.

I love Football and want to become the very best player I can be. I try my best to take advantage of each day to get 100 percent better. I take my nutrition and physical training seriously. I am a student of the game, who is always looking to improve in all aspects of the game. I am always looking for coaching and advice to improve. I understand that we are always learning and never stop. I not only want to become the best football player I can be, but I also want to become the best man I can be and that's what I want to gain from the next level.

Things that I bring to the field that make me stand out include: 

- My willingness to learn and take direction 

- I play to a whistle and don't take plays off

- I push and encourage my teammates to get better 

- I love my teammates and will go to war for them

- My experience as a AAA hockey player and high school basketball Champion gives me the speed, agility, stamina, hand eye coordination and quick decision-making most other OLs don't have.
